Sharing your ideas in public can feel lonely. Embracing this will help you build your freedom business...
Movement Builder Pro course now live for a few more hours.
When people talk about doing challenging things, the word that often comes up is 'fear.'
'I felt nervous…'
But have you ever felt…
Alone?
Maybe you're preparing to give a presentation at work, or you've just shared a video of you speaking online and you lost the enthusiasm you had five minutes ago.
I'll be honest with you now.
Today I'm launching a course for you that I've been preparing for weeks.
And I'm scared.
It may flop.
I may look stupid.
…
In times like these, it can feel like there's no one there for support.
Fear might be there, but when doing things that require strength from you in a unique situation, it can feel lonely.
Looking back over my career as an illustrator, a writer, speaker, coach and teacher, I've had this feeling many times.
Often when I'm about to do something in public.
Maybe it's when I'm about to get on a podcast or give a talk.
But I get it sometimes, even when I'm about to share a newsletter that requires some vulnerability.
Even a thread on Twitter.
It can be isolating.
But how do you think the people you admire felt when they stepped up to do things that inspired you?
Yes, it can feel lonely at the top.
When it's your responsibility to lead and inspire.
It can hit you there.
But I've learned that even if it feels strange sometimes, these feelings are a good sign.
It's what countless leaders and warriors have felt over centuries.
I am connecting with these people now.
It's what we feel when we're leaning into what we believe in.
It's what we feel when we let go of the need to hide.
It can feel precarious.
Lonely.
Over time, I've started to equate this feeling with success - in a weird kind of way.
Most avoid these feelings and then wonder why they feel flat.
They go their whole lives never knowing the person they knew they could be.
When we align with who we really are - we're on purpose.
To be on purpose means contributing in a way that is uniquely suited to you and your skills and talents.
And living on purpose isn't always sunshine and rainbows.
The question I now ask myself is this:
'Would I rather live a comfortable life - numb even - following orders and making someone else successful?'
'Or will I accept the occasional discomfort of my mission as a leader of a movement?'
This is on the table for you today.
Will you step up?
Or will you choose the easy route?
I know what your inner warrior would say.
I know what your inner dragon is aching to whisper to you (as he coughs smoke rings in his slumber).
Step up.
The world needs this from you now.
It's time.
Are you in?
Are you willing to take courage to do what you know is right?
To step into your greatness?
You can live this life when you spend a little time building your movement each day.
And a movement needn't be massive or grandiose.
It can be a room of people who get you.
What would life be like if you had an email list that grew by the hundreds each day?
Full of loyal subscribers who hang on to your every word.
Who buy everything you put out?
I realise now that this is the most fulfilling way to live (plus, it makes good money!)
But it's not for everyone.
And you need a system.
I show you the system I use to add thousands of new ideal subscribers to my newsletters each month in the Movement Builder Pro course.
But it's available for only a few more hours today.
I’m closing this when we hit 20 spots filled today, and we’re so close (thank you to the 12 who have bought so far!)
Because I’m working with a smaller group of you, you’ll be getting plenty of direct help from me. I want to ensure you see results.
But you need to act now.
Are you in?
Please note: I'm launching a product today, so you'll be getting a few more emails from me here than usual. Thanks for understanding.
