I took this one seriously and spent half of the day reflecting and handwriting the findings in my notebook (I do so only with really important things).

I'm not sure if it is because of the "biggest enemy" concept, or because how well the questions are selected, or because of both, - I was able to connect so easily with the things inside my own soul - and brain - that were a mystery for me for the whole time since I decided to become a creator.

This exercise is FANTASTIC and eye-opening if you're willing to spend uninterrupted time on it. I've now crafted a statement that surprises me by how authentic it feels, yet somehow I spent years wandering in other directions.

Huge thanks, Alex.

Hi Alex. I have been receiving your emails as a free subscriber for a while now and have found your insights very helpful. I will occasionally read them out to my children also as they are holding themselves back by their limitations which you address in your emails. The most recent email you sent regarding finding and following your purpose I found most helpful, inspiring. I have applied the format to myself and came up with below:

I help small businesses (WHO) are currently not reaching their target audience (PROBLEM) by writing copy (SOLUTION) which connects the business with their target audience so the business achieves their goals (eg. increase sales, memberships, build their brand/product exposure).(RESULT)

I am studying to be a copywriter and have been stuck without much motivation to do the business, without a clear purpose. The above exercise has helped me to find my purpose as a copywriter and I will endeavor to apply this to the rest of my roles as a mother, home educator and householder. Thanks for your insights. One day when finances allow I will be a paid subscriber.

Pauline, Australia.
