Hi Alex, I've been a big fan for a couple of years. I even called you once to hire you, but I didn't have the funds at the time. That didn't stop me from listening to your advice about not censoring yourself for others. I decided to go for it. I hadn't shared any of my writing publicly yet, so my first step was to start a newsletter on LinkedIn. The only reason I chose that venue was that it was the easiest setup I knew of. I started writing and didn't pay any attention to any "icky" or uncomfortable vibes. I didn't get much response, which you said would happen, but I kept going. My point to this is that it didn't matter if I had 0 followers or 10,000. I started to change as a writer. My perspective changed. Also, I was having more fun writing what I wanted to write. I ended up writing daily and got up to 140 newsletters with the intention of switching to Substack. That's another story. However, the lesson I learned from you has changed me to this day. Now, I say what I think. Period. You're a pretty smart guy, Alex. But that's just me. Of course.
