Hi Alex, I also write regularly and have posted tips on this topic on Medium—yours is a great set of tips! I especially agree with your point on not letting AI write for you. While editing may be helpful later, writing from scratch or brainstorming before writing is a big no if readers want to truly develop their skills. I just wanted to drop you an appreciation note for sharing your content each week. Best, Jayshree
I found all these helpful. I use AI to find gaps in my thinking and ideas I might be missing (more research than writing). I also find that talk-to-text is my friend when it comes to the shitty first drafts since I don't have to "think" about what I am writing.
This was actually really helpful! I've been editing for the past week, spending many hours a day. Have actually been enjoying the process (sort of a brainteaser + puzzle) but also been wanting to finish and publish already so I can move on. Feels like I'm normally decent in writing drafts, it's the editing that takes me awhile. Thanks for sharing these helpful tips. Impressive that you write 9 posts per week!
My favorite method lately has been dictating to AI and getting it transcribed as my first draft, then refining it. It allows me to turn inspiration into content almost no matter where I am rather than letting it evaporate...
Sometimes I already have my head on the pillow and wouldn't get up to write, but I'll speak it and save it for the next day. Or when I'm on a walk and it hits. Or cooking.
Peeling eggs especially is a curious trigger to inspiration. That would be my tip to add to the list!

I like to prep-the-page before diving into the actual writing:
Headline
Intro
Main points
Conclusion
CTAs

Thanks for the tips, Alex.
Great tips!
How do you go about tackling ''off'' days?
Some days I can write for hours and hours, other days (mostly due to poor sleep), I can't seem to get a word out...
Great tips.
Definitely battling whether to stay what works - 1 article per week.
Or boost it up to 2 per week.
keep going!
